DEAR 2º ESO D STUDENTS

As I told you, there are several things for you to do during this weekend.
The first thing you are going to do is an entrance in a blog. I am the one who writes in this blog, but a blog can be used to make it work as a diary. If you take a look at page 26 in your student's books, you can help yourselves by looking at the entrance in exercise 3.
These are some tips to write your blog entrance. You can choose any of the days of this long weekend, and write an entrance on what you did or what was special about that day. Go ahead and enjoy!

"The most important sentence in any article is the first one. If it doesn’t induce the reader to proceed to the second sentence, your article is dead." William Zinsser

1. Be Short and Direct.
2. Write a Catching Opening Sentence or Paragraph.
3. Ask a Thought-Provoking Question.
4. Shorten Your Sentences, If Possible.
5. Use Simple, Yet Precise, Words.
6. Make Your Post Unique.

Take a look at the following video to understand what a blog is and how to use it.

When you finish going through my blog entrance, do exercises from your workbook, page 20. You are ready to write your own entrance to a blog. Cheers!!!!
